[Aquanet] Masa Paper

I have not used Masa paper for quite a while.
A friend gave me a sheet   and now I am trying to
remember how to use it...
If I am correct   Wet the paper ,crush it,open it up
and paste it with Elmers Glue or Acrylic Matte Medium
onto old Watercolor paper or wall paper...Use a Brayer
to flatten it onto the paper..Let dry  and then paint
on it....
Some paint on the paper before wetting and crumbling
Help!   I would appreciat any suggestions.
This paper does not have any threads running thru it...
