[Aquanet] December Critique Painting

Hi, 
Not sure if I am replying or sending this to aquanet because I have been silent for so very long---years and years.
Anyway, The lovely cat for this month stirred a response.   I agree with Cia, the kitty is v ery proud in catlike fashion.  I wonder about the flowers growing out of head though?  Reminds me of some of my photos of kids standing with lamps behind them?
