[Aquanet] Do any of you experts know the answer to this question?

Cia,

Generally speaking, it's not unusual for some types of graphics files take
longer to print than others. From my experience, certain combinations of
graphics programs and printers seem to work better with one file type than
another, so that may be what you're running into with your printer. I've
experienced this quirk with PCs and Macs working with a number of different
kinds of printers, so the problem isn't limited to just one operating
system. Unfortunately, it seems like another one of those computer
idiosyncrasies we have to learn to live with.

Why is it, when printing out something, a .tif file will print right on out
and be done with it. Even though it's
one of the best ways to save a photo, and the biggest in MB, on my HP psc,
.tif files print out fast and accurately,
while a .jpg of the same picture takes a long time to print out. Just
curious, if anybody knows.
