What a great painting and quite an honor also.  I also checked out your "Orchidée et Palmetto" and it is also very beautiful.   I will be seing you at our monthly AAPARS reunion in September when you will be our guest artist.  I can't wait to see what you will be doing for us.  We were all very disapointed when you couldn't come last spring because of the bad weather.  The joys of living in our beautiful province of Québec!

  I received excellent NEWS from NEWS , North East Watercolor Society , USA.

  My painting "Arabesque d'Orient " (26 x 18 in., on Fabriano 300 lb cp ) was selected for the next 31st International Open Juried Exhibition that will be presented at Kent Art Gallery  from Oct. 21 until November 4th 2007.  If you have time to take a look, the image is on that webpage. This national organization is excellent and the annual exhibitions are always breathtaking , showing new trends in watercolour painting, a good variety of different approaches and styles. I was really thrilled to be selected. It is a big big plus for me !! Hope you like the painting and tell about your opinion.
