[Aquanet] Monthly critiques - an idea

I have been considering how the monthly critiques on Aquanet have been
run and have an idea to propose to y'all. It seems to me that many of
the painting submitted for critique, while interesting and fun to look
at, are finished products and basically quite successful..

My suggestion is that members submit a painting for critique that I will
post _anonymously _keeping the artist's name hidden and known only to
me. Submit a painting on which you truly want to read critical comments.
Do you have an old one you have never been able to finish for some
reason? Don't know what to do next? Did you try something new you
aren't sure of? Or do you have one you want to put out there just for
fun? Look in that pile under the bed or in the closet and pull out that
painting you had so many hopes for, take a picture and send it in. Is
it worth reviving?? Let's find out what others think.

I want you "lurkers" to get more involved, too. This is a good way to
do it. Get your feet wet. Maybe your work is better than you think.
We are our own worst critics, aren't we?

I promise I won't tell who you are. Be brave. One rule: _submit only
your own work_.

Anticipating a rush of applicants. . . . (?) . . . will post them in
the order in which received.
