Hi Fatima. Yes, Don Andrews was selling the DVD version of his video,
“Making Watercolor Glow,” at the demo last night . . . and, he said that
within a month or so he’ll be recording a bunch of new instructional DVDs.
However, he didn’t mention when the new ones will be available. I just
checked Don’s website (www.donandrews.com <http://www.donandrews.com/> ) and
his books and video/DVD are available there.

BTW, I highly recommend the “Making Watercolor Glow” video, which I’ve owned
for a long time. While it includes a painting demo, most of the video
concentrates on color handling. Among other things, in the video Don refutes
the concept of “mud” and dismisses the claim that certain watercolor
pigments are opaque. I won’t give away the details, but he does an
eye-opening demo that substantiates his assertion about mud. This is one of
my favorite videos because it’s so iconoclastic.

And those who commented on Don’s outgoingness and good sense of humor are
right on. However, looking at his video, you might get the opposite
impression about him. In person, he’s very engaging and entertaining.
